Following on the back of my substitute article where I give you my alternatives for some foods that I like, I’ve got a pack of my favourite sauces by Walden Farms to give one of my lucky readers!

    I’m lactose intolerant so I substitue soya milk for cow’s milk in pretty much everything. And soya margarine for butter in baking.

    I love gluten free bread and loving the fact that Nairns do a gluten free range now because oat cakes are so versatile, either for snacking or they can be blended and used for toppings, bases or crusts, instead of bread crumbs.

    With several food intolerances I have to make a lot of substitutes. Rice flour and coconut milk are favourite products.

    I am coeliac and lactose intolerant so i substitute a lot of things i find light coconut milk, light soya cream are both great as they are great to have in the cupboard for substitute and teff or brown rice flour are great for thickening as well as for the obvious things. πŸ™‚ free from doesnt have to be free from flavour! πŸ™‚

    Allergic to milk (not lactose, actual milk) I substitute it with soya milk, substitute butter for soya butter ( pure ) and soya cream for cream.
